A new documentary film uploaded on Netflix called the Pick of the Litter is a story of the journey of a group of dogs as they undergo the training of becoming a guide dog.
The film has been rated 97% on Rotten Tomatoes.
Are you a dog lover? Do you love seeing cute little dogs running around the garden? Do you love seeing them getting into mischievous activates? Well, if your answer is yes then this is a must watch for you.
This heartwarming film is a story of a bunch of puppies who have to go under a training to become guide dogs so that they are able to help a person who is need and the people who are visually challenged.
Well, the story revolves around how the puppies have to go through a lot of struggle to become a guide dog ever since they are born.
The film is not about sweet little puppies doing cute little things but it is a lot more. These cute little puppies have to go through the most difficulties that is exceptionally hard for them to deal with.
And even after they go through the training for 2 long years, at the end while the selection process, most of them are unable to make through the cut as the level of selection is too high.
Well, no, the unselected dogs are not left behind in the streets but loving families are found out for them who are willing to adopt a well trained puppy.
The dogs in the film are in real guide dogs who are from a California based organization called Guide Dogs for Blind.
Watch the movie if you haven’t yet and you will know it is not just humans who are supposed to train hard but the dogs too.
