People have been left stunned by photos of a man who is lying on a hospital bed and is partially made of cake.
While the photos have been around since the summer of last year, the cake man has recently gone viral once more after the pictures were shared by Ben Cullen, also known as The Bake King, the mastermind of the project.
“Made for his music video ‘Feel Away’ – all his body parts were made from vanilla cake and chocolate ganache with sugar paste details!” The Bake King wrote as he shared photos of his creepy creation.
The cake was reportedly designed for and used in Feel Away, a music video by British rapper Slow Thai, whereas the man in the photos is actually the rapper himself.
While the rapper’s head and torso are real, all of the limbs were made out of cake, leaving internet users baffled.
Mr Cullen, who is well-known for creating realistic, jaw-dropping cakes, took his skills to the next level as he managed to convince the world that his vanilla cake was actually a part of a real human being.
After the photo started making rounds on the internet, people couldn’t believe this was even possible, whereas some suggested that it’s not clear what’s cake and what’s real flesh.
“All the parts for the Slowthai cake were made over a one-week period. Each of the limbs were made entirely from vanilla cake and held together with chocolate ganache. The cakes were then covered with sugar-paste and colored using edible food coloring and airbrushing,” Mr Cullen revealed in an interview with Metro.co.uk.
“Lots of the detail took a long time, like hand painting the tattoos onto the body parts and even hand painting individual hairs onto the arms and legs.”
