Photos and videos have emerged showing young interns running out from the Virginia courthouse Tuesday immediately after the jury made their decision.
As Federal courtrooms do not permit cell phones or other devices while in session, so after jurors convicted President Donald Trump’s former campaign manager on eight counts including tax evasion and bank fraud, interns were seen sprinting out from the Virginia courthouse immediately.
Once the verdict was in, the interns ran to deliver the world the breaking news.
The images and videos of young journalists sprinting out from the Virginia courthouse have gone viral.
One picture that shows NBC News intern Cassie Semyon, 21, wearing a blue dress and sandals running towards her team caught everyone’s attention. And, a hashtag #GoBlueDressGo quickly caught on with Twitter users.
”Cassie Seymon breaking the story of the year” fast,’ one tweeted.
‘sign her up for the Olympic games!’ the second one wrote.
‘There’s fast, really fast, supersonic fast’ another tweeted.
When Semyon saw her picture going viral on the Internet, she tweeted:
‘Yes, it is me, the journalist in the blue dress, running after the #ManafortTrial verdict,’
