Studies Suggest Constant Phone Use May Be Affecting the Anatomy of Our Skulls


We have all heard our parents saying that our cell phone is the root cause of everything bad that happens to us.

Well, yes, that is definitely not true but it looks like, cell phone usage is causing some major problems in the human body that we youngsters are failing to realize.

What is the problem that is arising? Well, it is the thorns that are growing on the head. Surprising isn’t it?

A new study carried by some scientists suggests that wrong body posture that happens because of the usage of the phone is causing a bone called enlarged external occipital protuberance” (EEOP) to develop out on the base of our skull.

What do the experts say on this? They say that the reason that such a thing is happening because our constant use of the phone is making our body adopting the change.

Cell phone usage has changed our body posture for the worse. Young adults always have their hands raised and their heads bent. This is causing the major change because to make a balance, the horns are growing on the base of our head.

While the experts wanted to know how prevalent the bones are, the Australian scientists took out a research and found out that 33% of people falling in the age group of 18 to 86 have a development in their enlarged external occipital protuberance” (EEOP).

The report was then published in the journal Scientific Reports.

The scientists say that they made a hypothesis that due to the usage of gadgets that constantly forces us to keep our hands raised and heads bent, the posture of our body is getting worse and this is the reason we have a development in the base of the skull.
