Petitions Are Growing By The Second For An England Vs Italy Rematch After ‘Biased’ Game


With each passing second, more and more calls for an England versus Italy rematch are increasing with fans losing their cool over a game they term was ‘biased’ in all regards.

Italy beat England during the final match of the Euro 2020 Cup, becoming winners while disappointing plenty of English fans around the globe.

Shockingly, all three-star players from England’s squad missed their penalties, handing over the match to the Italians, after a nail-biting and thrilling play of football. The players included Marcus Rashford, Bukayo Saka, as well as Jadon Sancho, who never managed to score.

However, English fans aren’t sitting still as they feel that their side deserves a rematch because the entire game was biased in their views. For this reason, there have been a growing number of petitions circulating from all over.

On the other hand, Gareth Southgate appeared on live television during the team’s press conference and claimed full responsibility for his side’s disappointing performance and failure.

Many fans felt the team did not deserve to exit the Euro 2020 cup as losers because they played fairly, unlike the Italians, from their perspective.

Garen Southgate’s squad crashed out from the cup due to missed penalty shootouts, despite managing to take the entire final to the full distance at the ever so popular Wembley stadium. However, a huge section of the English fans felt that their team was dealt with unfairly and that is what led to their loss.

Ever since that shocking incident, Italy has received a number of accusations that they played dirty, with many people calling out the team’s captain Giorgio Chiellini because he pulled upon Bukayo Saka’s collar during play and even made him fall towards the ground during the latter stages of the match.

Many felt he deserved to be removed from the field with a red card but that was certainly not the case in this match.
