Over 500K People Signed Petition Calling For Maximum Sentencing Of Two Teens


Over 500,000 people signed a petition calling for ‘maximum sentencing of the monsters’ who shared a video of their sickening act on social media.

People are seeking criminal charges against the two teens in the Snapchat video, named Alex Smith and Cody Hetrick.

The video, which is being investigated by the Pennsylvania Game Commission, showed two teens torturing a wounded deer before picking off one of its antlers before skinning the poor animal.

A Commission spokesperson said to ABC News that they are already expecting to announce charges. According to police officers, the teens in the video are from the area but the clip was taken outside their dominion.

The petition reads: “They committed sickening acts of violence and tortured this helpless deer.

“The two of them took a video of the actions and are seen laughing while restricting the animal, crushing the animals face, repeatedly kicking and stomping the animal’s face as the animal is desperately and helplessly seen trying to evade.

“Charges need to be pressed! CHARGES NEED to be FILED WITH MAXIMUM SENTENCING.”

The petition continues: “Especially with the new bills put into effect from the president making these acts federal offenses.”

According to reports, the two teens are from Brookville.

Another petition was launched to call for the teens to be banned from hunting. “These two give hunters a bad name. They tortured an injured buck, kicking it repeatedly in the head and breaking its antlers off.

“Alex Smith and Cody Hetrick should not just be prosecuted but banned from hunting for life.”

In a Facebook post, the commission said: “The conduct portrayed in the video is reprehensible and potentially a violation of the law.

“Pennsylvania State Game Wardens are currently investigating the matter.

“If you have any information related to the video, we ask that you report it to the Operation Game Thief Hotline at 1-888–PGC-8001 or the Game Commission’s Northwest Region Dispatch Office at 814-432-3187.”
