Of course, cat owners take them out for a stole and leave them free to explore and then come back home but it looks like the same won’t be an option for the cat owners any more as per the new laws in this town.

Cat owners in a town in Southern Australia will no longer be allowed to leave their cats out in the night as the new laws ban the activity for cat management in the city.

According to the council, the cats are better inside their homes at night because they create a nuisance. Also, the night time is for wild animals and it will not be safe for the feline friends.

The council also said that people will not be allowed to keep more than 2 cats at the same time.

People are speaking against the order as they say that the night time is the time cats are most active and keeping them inside the boundary is just not right.

This order also brings another issue in light that says people won’t take in stray cats anymore.

The council has ordered to keep the cats on a leash whenever the cat is out on the street or the owner would have to pay a fine for it.

They also said that they won’t send out people to run around and catch cats but they will surely install a camera if there is any complaint of cat nuisance.
