The border divides the people of two countries and keeps them apart, but recently, people came together on the border wall between Mexico and the USA and started making friends.
50-100 kids come to the wall every week to do some art project, socialize with people or learn music and become familiar with people on the other side of the wall.
The whole incident gives us an amazing message on how creativity can bring people together and make them familiar with each other.

Director Gretchen Baer’s is also on a mission to show the children that anything is possible with the power of creativity.
There is a small studio in Naco, Mexico, which is now art center for the students where Gretchen and her volunteers organize art and music lessons for others.
There are also many other art projects, like making bracelets, painting, and much more. The funding of the whole project comes from the volunteers and other individuals who want to make a difference.
The whole project is helping the kids learn a lot of things, and their faces light up with happiness the moment they arrive at the studio.
The Studio Mariposa is more like a home to these kids than a learning place, and they enjoy their time while they are there.
Gretchen aimed to make the kids learn about different musical instruments and how to play them. Now, some musicians cross the border to come and teach the children.
It is also a very significant opportunity for the kids who live in Naco because a lot of families are struggling there and cannot afford these lessons for their kids. It is undoubtedly a great place to bond and make new friends.
Share it with your friends and family.
