Nancy Pelosi is going public with her praise for US President Joe Biden and his administration in terms of carrying out a ‘historic’ withdrawal of US troops from Afghanistan.

While the House Speaker did mention that it was a very hazy start and things like these are never easy, that didn’t make her step away from her praiseworthy comments for Mr. Biden and his members in office.

The comments definitely raised plenty of eyebrows around the nation, as so many Democrats, as well as Republicans, criticized Biden’s every move, adding how it was poorly planned and executed, hence giving it the term chaotic.

In addition, so many people reminded Nancy Pelosi of how 13 US servicemen died towards the end in a series of explosions that rocked Kabul. But the fact that hundreds still remain in Afghanistan with an uncertain future was another point of concern that many people spoke about too.

Meanwhile, several polls also went on to reveal how only three or perhaps four in 10 US citizens hold Biden’s decisions and handling of the event in a positive light. The rest feel that it was just not worth a mention, and far from the term remarkable that Pelosi used in this context.

The House Speaker mentioned how things like these tend to begin with a very shaky start and unclear future. But thankfully, in this case, Biden’s moves allowed it to go about remarkably, and now, the administration will move forward from just that.

This array of comments come just a week after President Biden addressed the nation in a defiant tone, boldly explaining how his withdrawal was the right thing to do, and it was done with great success.

Throughout the month of August, the President of the US had made it very clear how he would be sticking to the timeline offered by the Taliban in regards to completing both the withdrawal as well as the evacuation of Americans from war-torn Afghanistan and that would bring the 2-decade long war to an end.
