Have you ever gotten so excited about something that you couldn’t stop talking about it?
If that’s hard to imagine, then picture talking to a Trekkie about Star Trek or discussing lightsabers with a Star Wars geek. The point is, when a subject piques your interest enough, you could spend the whole afternoon talking about it and not get tired.
As it turns out, even parrots can be that way. Specifically, Einstein the talking parrot recently got intrigued by some squirrels playing outside and he was so entranced that he just kept talking about them!

Einstein the Talking Texan Parrot is, by nature, both silly and smart and he just loves to talk and entertain people. He’s so talented that he can name several animals and imitate their sounds. He also loves having long talks with his owners about pretty much anything and that’s part of what makes him so beloved.
In this case, Einstein was on his favorite perch on the kitchen faucet when he espied a squirrel playing in the oak tree. Peering outside, he comments, looks at the squirrels, then tells them to turn around. He then states that he wants to go and see the animal! To top it all off, he even made that chirping or barking sound that squirrels make sometimes.
This is just how Einstein loves to spend his time. On his website einsteinparrot.com, Einstein’s mission statement goes: “To entertain and bring joy, to foster the human-parrot bond, and to convey that parrots are deserving of immeasurable amounts of patience, nurturing, and companionship.”
But it’s not just about jokes and laughter because the website also seeks to educate people about the proper care of parrots.
Parrots require a lot of attention and can easily get bored. They also need a lot of space to move around which means installing several perches around the house and designing a larger enclosure so that they have enough freedom of movement. Otherwise, they can become moody and bad-tempered.
Suffice it to say, it requires a lot of time and investment to properly care for a parrot.
