Parents Broke Down In Tears After Three Children, Aged 8, 12 And 13, Were Run Over By A Drunk Driver While Buying Ice Creams


Parents of three young children who were run over by a drunk driver while they were buying ice cream spoke out as they broke down in tears.

8-year-old Sienna, 12-year-old Angelina, and 13-year-old Antony were killed when a Mitsubishi Triton slammed into them.

Their cousin, an 11-year-old girl, also passed away.

Another boy, 11, and two girls, aged 13 and 10, were rushed to Westmead Children’s Hospital, where both girls are now stable but the boy remains in a serious condition.

29-year-old Samuel Williams Davidson has been charged with 20 counts including high-range drink driving and manslaughter after the incident.

The three siblings’ father, Daniel Abdallah, made a heartbreaking plea as he urged motorists to take care on the roads. He also told other to “make sure you love our loved ones.”

“I have a wife Leila, six beautiful children I have been blessed with – yesterday I lost three of my beautiful children,” he expressed.

“These kids were just walking innocently, enjoying each other’s company, and this morning I woke up and I’d lost three kids.

“I told them to go for a little walk to stay together – ‘you guys should be OK’. Give them a little bit of independence. This is one in a million. They were just walking on the footpath.”

He added: “All I just want to say is please, drivers, be careful. These kids were just walking innocently, enjoying each others’ company, and this morning I woke up – I have lost three kids.

“Please, just, make sure you love your loved ones, your kids especially.”

Leila, their mother, broke down in tears and prayed when she to a wall of floral tributes at the scene.

NSW Police assistant commissioner Michael Corboy said in a press conference: “Manslaughter charges carry the ultimate penalty, so lengthy jail periods at the maximum. We think we have a very strong briefing.”

In New South Wales, the maximum sentence for manslaughter is 25 years.

Jason Joyce, the acting assistant commissioner, described the incident as a ‘tragedy we haven’t seen for some time.’

The driver’s legal aid solicitor, Danilo Rajkovic, didn’t apply for bail, according to reports.
