An animal shelter in West Palm Beach, Florida decided to put a senior pit bull to sleep after no one adopted him.
The animal shelter did everything to make the senior pit bull named “Hank” adoptable but no one adopted him.
The animal shelter decided to put him to sleep.
But, just two days before Hank was scheduled to be put to sleep, a man showed up.
The man named Barry Gearhart started crying as it was his dog.
“Hank”, whose real name was “Titan,” was stolen from Gearhart’s truck.
Hank was with Gearhart since he was a puppy. Gearhart did everything to find his beloved dog but he couldn’t find him.
Luckily, he posted some photos of Hank nearly a year after losing him and a woman commented that Titan looked exactly like a pit bull at the animal shelter.
And finally, Titan and Gearhart reunited.
“Omg miracles never cease my Titan boy is been gone for one year and four days I posted something on Facebook today with a bunch of his pictures and Bam I got to hit he’s coming home,” he posted on his Facebook.
“Look who turned up. He’s here! What are you doing, buddy?” Barry Gearhart, said in a video he posted to Facebook.
Titan, who had some health issues, spent his last year of life with his owner happily. We are so glad they found each other.
