Outrage As School Warns Girls To Start Wearing Skirts Instead Of Shorts To Avoid Harassment


Parents and students are furious after a school in the UK warned young girls against wearing shorts because they felt it increased their chances of being raped.

Moreover, local media outlets confirmed how the young girls were requested to begin wearing skirts of a considerable length because that would be the only way to prevent them from being assaulted sexually.

“Shorts will only get you noticed during your PE classes,” mentioned the administration, who was called out by both students and parents for the awfully rude and unjust behavior.

Many people felt angered over the alleged comments. It was as if it didn’t make sense. Others called out the school’s staff for showing zero sympathies for the pupils who attended the educational institution. Moreover, authorities revealed how the school’s staff has since apologized for the behavior.

But that’s right after shocking video and footage revealed how angry many felt at their audacity.

Parents and enraged pupils took to the streets to protest against the staff at Dr. Thomlinson Church of England’s Middle School. They claim that wearing shorts instead of skirts during the hot summer weather did not make sense, especially since it was sports class.

And the fact that some of the girls were as young as 12 years old just went on to show how careless they were when it came to thinking before speaking on such a topic.

While the staff did go on apologizing for hurting anyone’s sentiments. They also spoke about how it was not something that was of their personal opinion. In fact, they went on stating the blame on the school, calling it their personal views.

Many parents added how it was totally understandable why the girls wore their PE kits to school on days reserved for PE classes. And that’s just so they could avoid using the school’s changing rooms.
