The woman explained her shock and dread when the staff stated that she wouldn’t be able to enter the famous theme park with all of her makeup on, as she was dressed as a Disney character.

But there appeared to be some sort of misunderstanding on the woman’s part as many netizens were quick to point out to her that this rule was not something new. Instead, they spoke about how it was a regulation that remained in place for years.

The woman started to explain how much thought, effort, and time she put into her Halloween costume this year, and the makeup was a huge part of it. Sadly, her justification paved no way for her entry as she was forced to remove the blue paint and false stitches.

Dressed as the famous character Sally from the Nightmare Before Christmas, the woman certainly did the look justice. Unfortunately, it was all vain because she wouldn’t be allowed inside with that much makeup on.

Posting her bitter experience on TikTok, she spoke about how disappointed she felt, adding that the staff at Disneyland had no right to treat her like that.

“Apparently, they claim that they allow makeup of this sort on certain days,”- she began to fume. But many viewers who came across her story just wouldn’t agree with her. Instead, they opted to school her politely so that she would remember it as a lesson for a lifetime.

“The rule has been in place for years, you should have paid attention to the guidelines that are clearly mentioned on their website,” many explained. Similarly, others added how the rule was started for the safety of kids, to prevent them from thinking that every adult walking around in costume was a staff member.

And that’s because, in the end, the kids end up asking for pictures and autographs because they’re so fascinated by the Disney-inspired recreated looks.

Others tried to tell the woman how she had done a great job with the get-up and how her makeup looked great. But as you can probably imagine, they again repeated how Disney always had this rule and the staff members were only doing their job.
