A woman who loves fitness and thinks she looks decades younger than she actually is has spoken out about her lifestyle.

63-year-old Gym Tan is a mother and fitness enthusiast from California who continues to amaze her followers with her youthful appearance and her teen-like energy.

As Tan explained, people often mistake her for a lady in her 20s and 30s, whereas she believes that she’s aging backward.

“I said before that I actually think I look younger this year than I did last year,” she said.

“Age is just a number. I have said it before but more than that just focus on what makes you happy.  Focus on what makes you feel good.”

And as for her secret to her youthful looks, Gym says it all comes down to one’s perspective on life and age. She says one should view age as a number and continue having a positive outlook on life and the situations we find ourselves in.

“I’m running further and stronger than in my 20s,” Gym said in one of her viral videos as she admitted she feels she is in the “fittest and best shape” of her life.

After the clip went viral, the social media influencer quickly racked up thousands of likes with her 4 million followers left pondering how she does it.

“You’re honestly one of the sunniest brightest creators I follow. Love you,” someone wrote.

“This is amazing. Our bodies don’t deteriorate because of age, it’s because we discontinue our younger habits. Killin’ it!” another said.

A third quipped: “You honestly don’t look a day over your 20s! Keep up the good work.”
