A woman has sought help on This Morning program after her husband developed a habit of visiting a foreign country without her knowledge.
As 70-year-old Julie revealed while speaking to hosts Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield, her tight-lipped husband of 48 years has been making regular trips to Thailand.
The distraught wife explained that she knew something was off when her husband began disappearing – along with his passport – without informing her where he was going.
She eventually found out that the man has been making regular trips to Thailand. While she confronted him about the issue one day, he allegedly told her to mind her own business and stop bugging him.
What’s worse is that the man has also been sending hundreds of dollars to an unknown recipient in Thailand on a monthly basis.
“It’s normally on a Wednesday night he goes. I just come home, there’s no note, nothing, passport, gone, clothes gone,” the woman explained.
“I’m 70 now… I just don’t know what to do… I’m thinking, how long have I got?”
After the woman’s plea for help, both the hosts and viewers urged Julie to act immediately because it is clear that her husband is seeing another person in Thailand.
“He’s got someone else. He’s going to Thailand to see someone else – male or female,” Schofield said.
“You need to get a good lawyer and then leave him. He’s clearly got another person, or an entire family, in Thailand,” one commentator suggested.
A third outraged viewer wrote: “Why are you still putting up with him when it’s clear he’s cheating on you? Not blaming you but c’mon it’s pretty obvious what’s going on!”
