A 76-year-old woman has fired back at critics who told her to ‘dress her age’ by sporting a black swimsuit and strutting along a swimming pool.
Candace Leslie Cima, who boasts more than 94,000 followers in TikTok, is often ridiculed by trolls who claim she was not acting her age.
She has now hit back at haters by walking along a pool in Florida wearing a black one-piece that shows off her figure.
In her viral video on TikTok, which has been viewed more than 7.5 million times, Candace shared the most common comment she hears.
The 76-year-old said many people tell her she should not wear such clothing because of her age.
“You’re 60, you shouldn’t wear that,” one person said, to which she responded: “I’m actually 75 (now 76).”
In Another clip, she showed that she does not care about her haters.
While enjoying a vacation in Florida, Candace proved that age is just a number as she walked by the pool while wearing a figure-hugging one-piece.
She shared another video in which she can be seen wearing numerous tight outfits.
Many fans were quick to defend the 76-year-old, with one person commenting: “You are the definition of aging gracefully, such an inspiration!”
Another said: “You are gorgeous.”
A third added: “Beautiful and classy inside and out.”
Candace initially created her social media account to help people get rid of the ‘negative connotation’ associated with aging.
She wrote on her website: “We now have the chance to be productive, intelligent, compassionate, stylish women throughout our later years.”
Candace likes to try new activities, relax to reduce stress levels, and let go of things that she can’t control.
