A woman who went from working an 8-5 job to being a submissive wife and a full-time traditional wife has spoken out.
22-year-old Aria Lewis of North Carolina is a self-proclaimed tradwife who ditched her “very promising, very busy career” to become a housewife and “heal her body for pregnancy.”
After her change of heart, the young lady created a TikTok account where she frequently shares glimpses from her private life to inspire other women to follow her suit.
As Aria claims, accepting her “God-given role” was the best decision she ever made, whereas she now aims to fully submit to her husband and homeschool their future children.
Defending her decision, the woman also said women have been doing this “since the beginning of time” until “the feminist movement” began “ridiculing” what used to be normal.
“Sometimes, working is the best decision for your family, and sometimes staying home is the best decision. You and your husband have to make that decision yourselves,” Aria says.
“But for goodness sakes, I cannot tell you the number of people who think I’m immature for staying home and running my side hustles homesteading, tending to my home and healing my body for pregnancy.”
Dismissing the trolls who accused her of being a servant to her husband, the 22-year-old went on to say that she loves her role in the household regardless of what others may think of it.
“I LOVE being a homemaker. I LOVE that *I’m* the one who gets to serve my husband (and future family) this way,” she added.
“I love having a clean house, and I love that God is slowly working on me, growing me as I seek to discipline myself in cleaning my house. I love that my role as a woman is the role of a homemaker.
“Not every woman is called to this, but I am. I am called to nurture and care for my home in my role, and that is a beautiful thing.”
