A girlfriend who found a tampon in her partner’s bedroom is being hailed a ‘genius’ after she devised a plan to see if her boyfriend had been cheating on her.

Lois Saunders was resting in her boyfriend’s room when she noticed a mascara and yellow wrapped tampon under his cabinet.

But when she asked him about the items that did not belong to her, he immediately denied her claims.

Lois then took matters into her own hands by hatching a ‘genius’ plan to see if her boyfriend had cheated on her.

She took to TikTok and posted her story, writing: “When you find a tampon and mascara under your boyfriend’s wardrobe and they deny everything, you have to investigate yourself.”

In the clip, Los explained that she had contacted the manufacturer of the tampon to know when it was created.

A staff named Grace then responded to her question and informed her that the item was manufactured on December 11, 2019.

Fortunately, it was before they became an official couple.

Lois’ partner then theorized that the sanitary product must’ve been left behind by a female student who previously occupied the apartment.

The TikTok video has received almost 5,000 comments from people who were left divided if “this is genius or borderline psycho.”

One person commented: “If he has no sister and it’s not yours and you were dating him prior to Dec 2019 then yeah homeboy is guilty.”

Another wrote: “If I ever get kidnapped, ask her to solve my case.”

A third said: “Men really don’t realize how smart we are though.”

Someone else added: “Tampax Grace was like ‘been there, good luck.’”
