Many people are convinced that ‘nerdy men’ make the best husbands and dads after a woman shared all of their ‘green flags’.

Isabel Brown, who goes under the username @theisabelbrown on TikTok, urged others to look for ‘nerds’ instead of Mr. Right because nerdy men often have the qualities that make them the perfect husbands and fathers.

Sharing a clip of another TikToker asking “Where do y’all be finding these men that are obsessed with you, good fathers, can take care of you, spoil you?”

Isabel then said: “They’re nerds. You go for the nerd.”

“Let’s break the trope that all English movies have, the nerdy girl that grows up and has a glow-up,” she said. “The unsuspecting girl, her nose always in her book. Loves her fantasies and series and then becomes super hot and amazing. They don’t say that for men.”

She then listed the ‘green flags’ she has managed to recognize so that others might also use them when looking for a good partner.

“If he owns a lightsaber, green flag. If he has purchased a wand from the Wizarding World of Harry Potter, the greenest possible flag,” she said.

Isabel went on: “If he has an unhealthy obsession with Ahsoka Tano, you better run to the altar. Bonus points if he’s a lover of Monopoly.”

She explained that nerd boys grow up to be men who see what’s in the heart.

Many viewers agreed with her, with one person commenting: “Henry Cavill for example.”

Another said: “Important point though, you have to let them stay a nerd. No making them give up the nerdy stuff.”

A third added: “Mine has a Lord of the Rings sword and I knew he was the one after that.”
