The young woman who claimed that she could be Madeleine McCann has shared her next steps after she finally received answers from her DNA test results.
Julia Wendell rose t fame after she created an Instagram account where she posted comparison photos of herself and Maddie, who disappeared from a vacation apartment while her parents, Gerry and Kate McCann, were at a nearby restaurant.
She recently made her first TV appearance with Dr. Phil where she talked about her resemblance to Maddie.
But now, DNA test results revealed that Julia is not the missing daughter of the McCanns.
Dr. Fia Johansson, a private investigator and self-proclaimed medium who has been assisting Julia, took to Instagram and shared the results of the test.
“Julia’s test results are back. We finally know the reality,” she wrote.
“Although it is impossible to tell for sure without the parent’s DNA results on either side, the test results speak to the origins of Julia’s root.”
The medium continued: “The test results revealed that she is 100% of Polish heart, with negligible influence from Lithuania, and Russia.
“The DNA test results did not show any connection to British or even German roots.”
She also said that Julia’s story was “much more complicated than a simple girl from a small town in Poland making a claim to get attention.”
The private investigator also said that she prepared a short interview with the Polish girl, who broke down in tears about her past.
As for Julia’s next steps, Dr. Johansson said that she will return to her father in Poland.
“I personally wish her well,” she added.
