A woman who claims that she is the missing girl Madeleine McCann has announced that she is ready to take a DNA test.
Julia’s Instagram video claiming that she ‘could be Madeleine McCann’ has gone viral on social media as she shared ‘evidence’ that she’s the missing daughter of the McCanns.
The missing British girl was only four when she vanished from the holiday apartment while on a vacation with her family in Portugal in 2007.
Julia said that a comment from her grandma made her believe that she may be Madeleine McCann, even sharing alleged evidence to her Instagram account.
She said she has the same eye condition as Maddie, who had a mark on her right eye known as coloboma. She also showed how the freckles on her legs look similar to Maddie’s.
The 21-year-old, who said that her age may be wrong, wrote I her Instagram bio that she wants to take a DNA test as investigators in Poland and the UK were dismissing her.
Julia has now claimed that the McCanns have asked for a DNA test after she showed ‘evidence’ that she is the missing girl.
She said that she spoke with someone from the McCann family and that she is set to take a DNA test, the Mirror reported.
She also shared an article alleging Madeleine’s parents ‘have reportedly asked for a DNA after girl showed ‘evidence’ she’s their missing daughter’ and wrote: “They agreed!!!”
A source close to the family told the Daily Star that the parents “are taking no chances, they are willing to look at all leads. It is important they look at all of the factors, the girl does look similar.”
“There’s no disputing that. If what she says is true, there is every chance it could be her. It all adds up,” the source added.
