A young woman who claims to be missing Madeleine McCann has revealed that she is finally getting the truth.
21-year-old Julia Wandelt made headlines on Instagram after she posted comparisons between herself and the missing British girl, who vanished at the age of four while on a family holiday in Portugal.
But some detectives have suggested that Julia might be Livia Schepp, a missing Swiss girl who disappeared at the age of 6 in 2011 along with her sister Alessia.
Julia is now in the U.S. with Dr. Fia Johansson, a private investigator and a self-confessed medium who has been speaking on her behalf.
Dr. Johansson shared photos of Julia on her Instagram and said that she’s prioritizing her safety after the Polish girl received threats from online trolls.
One of the images show Julia getting into a car.
“Julia enjoying the sunlight. I’m so happy for this beautiful angel that finally found some peace,” she wrote.
Dr. Johansson added: “Past seven days, she has been so anxious, so worried, and so lonely. At this moment, she is happy she is not alone, and she is getting the truth.”
The medium said she wanted to keep Julia safe as she ‘has nobody’ in Poland, including her family members who released a statement rebuking her claims.
“Julia has never said, ‘I am Madeleine McCann’. She has lots of questions about her past and she asked for help. We are open to all possibilities,” she expressed.
“Having spent time with Julia and investigating this I do not think she is lying or making things up for followers, everything she says appears to be real.”
