A woman who was taking photos of crashing waves feels ‘really blessed’ after she captured an image of Jesus staring back at her.
Tracey Bosworth likes to spend her time walking along the coast in Torquay, Devon, the place is where she is happiest.
But she was left shocked by what she discovered while she was looking back through her photos of the waves during her most recent trip.
Tracey said that she saw an image of Jesus in one of the waves.
“I have a relationship with the sea. I spend most of my time on the coast – It’s where I am happiest,” she said. “I love watching the waves and I love taking photographs. Combining the two is my idea of heaven.
“I noticed due to high tide and effects of Storm Barra, the waves were splashing against the steps that lay horizontally to the beach, almost along its full length.
“The waves were quite big at times.”
The keen photographer continued: “I took lots of photos but it wasn’t until I was going through them to find one or two to put on social media that I came across this image with God in it.
“I was so excited. I feel really blessed!”
The photo shows a wave only moments before it crashed against the wall.
Meanwhile, clouds appear to open above it, with a ray of light shining from the sky.
Tracey said that many people who saw the photo have likened it to Neptune, the Roman god of fresh water, or Poseidon, the Greek god of the sea.
