A 44-year-old woman has revealed how she juggles a husband, two boyfriends, and a fiancé, insisting that she was in love with all of them.
Mary Crumpton from Chorlton, Manchester, said on ITV’s This Morning that she’s still open to meeting more people.
Viewers took to social media to express their shock at her ability to keep so many relationships.
Mary lives with her husband Tim, 43, fiancé John, 53, while having a relationship with James, 73, and Michael, 63.
The therapist and her live-in partners all have separate bedrooms. She then chooses who she’ll sleep with according to how she feels on the day.
“For me love is not a limited resource, time might be. Say if a parent has one child and then they have a second child, it doesn’t mean they love the first any less,” she said.
“Our love is not limited and for me I find that I can love more than one person romantically.”
Mary also revealed that she has been receiving vile messages from others.
“Believe it or not there are lots of people in this country very similar to me but they hide, they don’t even tell their families because they’re scared of what people will say. Even thought they’re adults doing something legal,” she explained.
“People are very judgmental. You can be sacked. It’s a protected characteristic to be homosexual, or Muslim, or whatever, you can’t fire for that. If I was still teaching in a Catholic school I can guarantee I’d be fired if they found out.”
People took to Twitter to express their shock and confusion, with one person writing: “I can just about cope with my Husband. He causes me that much stress I couldn’t cope with another one.”
Another wrote: “She needs to give me tips on picking up a guy cause legit can’t even get a first date nevermind a husband and 3 boyfriend’s.”
A third said: “How does she have a husband, a fiancé and two boyfriends and I can’t even get a phone number?”
Someone else added: “I don’t even have a boyfriend so the hell does she have a Husband Fiance and two freaking boyfriends?”
