A 27-year-old woman has had too much fillers it left her face deformed after she became obsessed with injections from the age of 20.
Kayla Jenkins from Dorset first decided to have fillers after she felt she had ‘small lips.’ Since then, she had botox and regularly went to the salon to add more injections.
But when many influencers shared that they are having their fillers dissolved, Kayla has also decided to do the same.
The 27-year-old took to TikTok and shared photos of how she looked like before injections, how she appeared after fillers, and her new appearance after having them dissolved.
“I started with just lip filler and Botox and then I ended up regularly getting filler in my chin, cheek and jaw,” she said.
“I’ve since had a non-surgical nose job and have also had my smile lines tended to, which were both done with filler.
“I used to get 1 ml in my lips, each cheek and jaw, with 0.5ml in my nose, smile lines and chin.”
Her facial enhancements could cost up to $1,300 each time. After she became an influencer, she used business collaborations and paid partnerships to cover the expenses.
But after years of having fillers, she realized one day that she no longer recognize herself.
“I realized my face was deformed after I went to my now aesthetic practitioner, Sarah, at SLA medical clinic,” she expressed.
“She advised me that the filler used didn’t dissolve after six months like most but instead migrated around your face and could last up to six years.”
She continued: “I’d always thought my face looked a bit weird, but as I was ‘filler blind’ from having so much for so long, I couldn’t tell what it was.”
Many viewers say that Kayla looks much better after having the fillers removed.
“You’ve aged backwards!” one person commented.
“Omg that was you, you look so much better now,” another wrote.
