As Australia-based Tasia Taderera revealed in her viral TikTok post, she was out on a first date with a man who inquired about her for two hours while offering to buy her just one drink.

The young lady went on to condemn the man saying she’s put off dating because men are “so disgusting.”

She further insisted it was unacceptable for her dates to buy her just one drink when she puts in so much effort to look great.

“I don’t want to do this, I am so done with men. They are so disgusting,” Tasia said in her clip.

“Look at me, take me for dinner,” she added as she explained she would love a potential suitor to take her out for dinner and spoil her with drinks.

She continued: “Like don’t try to get all of this information out of me over one drink that you don’t want to pay for and I am looking this great.”

After the video went viral, plenty of ladies were quick to back up Tasia and suggest her date should have put in more effort.

“One drink over two hours, I would prefer to listen to my son singing ABC while I drink a bottle of wine,” one woman wrote.

“I would love to be able to leave reviews on their profiles. Warn other women not to waste their time!” another said in response to Tasia’s idea that men should be rated for their performance during dates in public reviews.

Plenty of people, however also took issue with Tasia’s approach to dating and her expectations.

“That’s not how equality works. Why didn’t YOU buy HIM a drink?” someone said.

“She only did the bare minimum too by getting dressed. What expectations do men have? I am starting to understand why lost men find you all entitled,” another argued.

A third wrote: “You went with the wrong intentions, get to know him first. Then if you are really worth it he will wine and dine you but not on the first date.”
