A woman whose marriage is close to a breaking point because of a small disagreement has spoken out and asked the internet for advice.
As the impulsive lady in question revealed, she decided to for a big change and get a pixie cut after sporting long hair since the beginning of her marriage.
When she told her husband about it, however, the woman was in for plenty of objections. Unhappy with her plans, the man told his wife she should grow long hair instead if she wanted a change instead of cutting it short.
Fighting back, the wife said her hair is “super thick” and hard to manage, hence her decision to go short.
Disregarding his wife’s reasoning, the husband went on to insist he should have a say in her choices because he has to see her hair all the time.
Infuriated by the pointless argument, the woman took things into her own hands and decided to forget about the pixie cut and get a buzz cut again.
While she loves her new hairstyle, the lady admitted her husband hasn’t received the news well and hasn’t spoken to her since except for telling her she should have listened to him.
“My husband argues that since he has to see it all the time, he should have a say on what I have as a hairstyle. Then I told him that it’s my hair and I can do what I want with it, plus it’s just hair but my husband won’t budge and just kept trying to convince me to grow out my hair,” the woman said.
“I eventually got fed up with him and drove to the salon and told the hairdresser to shave off my entire hair. When I got home that day, my husband looked visibly upset and began to ignore me. At bedtime, he told me that I should’ve taken his opinions into consideration instead of cutting my hair impulsively.”
