A heartbroken man has revealed how his wife just laughed at him when he caught her cheating but he insisted that he loves her more than anything.

Writing on Reddit, the husband explained that he cheated on her four years ago and he regretted it.

“I cheated on my wife four years ago. I regret it to this day and I have never done anything since,” he expressed.

“We have two small children and when she found out she moved out. Life was hard on both of us and we were miserable. I love my wife more than anything and losing her was excruciating,” the man continued.

After being apart for a few months, he pleaded with his wife to come back and they took it slow.

They also went to therapy as they tried to build their lives again. “She moved back after a year and everything was back to normal again. We were even stronger and our relationship grew. We are very happy together. I finally thought our life was perfect again.”

But his wife has never forgotten his infidelity and he was shocked to find out that she was having an affair with another man.

“About a week ago, a man showed up at my door and when I opened it he was confused then apologized for mixing the days up. I was supposed to fly home with my children the next day. My wife took over and she went back to the guys car and they talked for five minutes and he drove away,” he went on.

When he asked her who the man was, she just said that he came to pick her up as he was supposed to be at his parents.

“I was shocked so I asked her if she was sleeping with him. She was so unbelievably unbothered, looked at me for a moment and said yes. I was speechless. I said, ‘Are you sleeping with others?’ and she said, ‘Yes? Since we got back together.’”

The husband went on and said that his wife was so calm like everything was normal.

“I said that I never as much as looked at another woman since I cheated she was surprised at first then she laughed at me. She said She said she just assumed that I did so she thought if I could then so could she,” he added.

Reddit users were not baffled by the wife’s reaction and seemed to sided with her as he was the one who started having an affair.

One person commented: “As someone who got cheated on and tried to work it out – realistically I despised him since the very moment I found out. It was over then. Not that I didn’t truly try. But I never imagined how much it ruins a relationship until I was cheated on.”

Another wrote: “Sometimes it just happens. You cheating on her broke the trust. She kept that in the back of her head and an opportunity came up and she probably decided to do it so you guys can be even, but she liked it. It’s done.”
