Travis Kelce has left fans heartbroken after he admitted that he and his girlfriend Taylor Swift have not spoken to each other since the Grammys.
As the Kansas City Chiefs plane arrived in Las Vegas to prepare for Super Bowl LVIII, the ‘Midnights’ hitmaker won a Grammy for best Pop Vocal Album.
Kelce saw his girlfriend win her first award of the night as he got his phone service back but he admitted that he has not spoken with her since the Grammys as she needed to get on a plane.
During his time at Super Bowl LVII Media Night, Kelce was asked about Swift traveling to watch the game, including her influence on him and the games.
“You can’t put any more pressure than I put on myself, I promise you that,” he said on Monday evening.
“It’s just the heart of a competitor. (Swift) has definitely brought a lot of new faces to the game and its been fun to experience that.”
While he did not respond on whether the singer would attend Super Bowl LVIII, he said that Swift enjoys the games.
“She’s a part of Chiefs Kingdom right now. It’s fun to see her enjoy the game of football knowing that it’s kind of new to her life,” Kelce said.
Swift has attended 12 Chiefs games this season and fans are expecting her to attend the Super Bowl LVIII, which would be her 13th – her lucky number.
On Sunday, Swift won two Grammy Awards, including her fourth ‘Album of the Year’ award, bringing her total to 14 Grammys.
