Blink-182 drummer Travis Barker posed with his wax figure and people can’t figure out which one is the real Travis.
On October 22, Madame Tussauds in Las Vegas revealed a new addition to their figures: a wax statue of Barker.
Fitted with clothes given by the drummer himself – including a leather jacket, pants, boots, and belt, Barker’s statue appears to be one of the most realistic-looking figures to date.
The 47-year-old was clearly impressed, saying at the unveiling ceremony: “Woah! This is insane. I’m honored. I’m flattered. I’m shocked. It looks so f***ing real.”
The wax figure also features his signature silver jewelry, including his chain necklace, nose rings, and wedding ring.
Even Travis’ pregnant wife, Kourtney Kardashian, was also shocked after seeing the lifelike wax figure via FaceTime.
“Oh my god!” Kourtney expressed after seeing the sculpture.
“Honey, it looks real. Isn’t it crazy, baby?” Travis told his wife.
According to the press release, the rapper worked closely with the Madame Tussauds team to create the sculpture, which is now the most-tattooed figure ever made by the museum.
Every ink was closely matched using 3D scanning, with the coloring and stenciling processes taking nine weeks in total.
“I think you guys really got my eyebrows right, and my ‘blessed’ (tattoo),” Travis gushed. He also invited fans to see the wax figure in person, writing on Instagram: “Come say hi to my clone @madametussaudsusa.”
After posing with his clone, people can’t seem to figure out which is the real Travis, with one fan commenting: “I actually didn’t know which was real at 1st that’s crazy.”
Another said: “I swear it took me a minute to figure out who was who.”
