Tommy Dorfman was spotted grabbing a cup of coffee in New York City after accusing a Delta Airlines employee of misgendering her in a viral video.
The 13 Reasons Why actress sported a red sweater, blue pants and black boots as she completed her outfit with a duffel coat, chic sunglasses and a beanie.
This comes after the 31-year-old claimed that two Delta Airlines employees ‘intentionally’ misgendered her at LaGuardia Airport.
Her viral video shows a male Delta staff who initially referred to her as a ‘she’ before correcting himself and calling the actress a ‘he.’
“You just misgendered me again,” Dorfman said in the clip. “Multiple times, both of you have.”
The actress also claimed that the female employee “did do it intentionally twice,” but was contradicted by a woman who did not appear in the clip.
Addressing the man again, Dorfman said: “You said he and then you said she.”
The unnamed employee told Dorfman that she was ‘being condescending’ and that he could remove her from the building.
“If you want to continue, I have full authority to escort you out the building if you want to play that game with me,” he said in the now-deleted video. “Would you like to continue three days before Christmas? I really don’t mind.”
Dorfman then signed and put the camera down.
The actress initially captioned the video: “Didn’t realize it was condescending to flag a human rights violation after another employee misgendered me incessantly.”
In a statement shared with Newsweek, the airlines said that it is “aware of the video and looking into the matter, including reaching out to our customer to understand more about what occurred.”
