Adorable Toddler Wakes Up At 3 AM On Christmas Day And Unwraps Presents Under The Tree Without His Family


A mother has shared the hilarious moment her 3-year-old woke up at 3 am to open all of their presents under the Christmas tree.

Parents Scott and Katie Reintgen were left baffled when their toddler son woke them up in the middle of the night as he needed scissors.

The curious parents then investigated why he needed it and they immediately found out that their son had unwrapped every single Christmas present under the Christmas tree.

Taking to X, formerly Twitter, Scott posted a photo of the Christmas tree surrounded by already-opened gifts.

“Yall. My three-year-old came down at 3am and unwrapped EVERYONE’s presents,” he captioned his post.

In another post, Scott shared his son’s ‘version of events’ and said that the youngster ‘wanted to open all the presents so no one was confused.’

“That’s his story,” he added.

In the caption, the father wrote: “Just adding his explanation for why he opened everything! Also have to add: we’re not mad. He’s a good kid, and it’s a story we’ll tell for the rest of our lives.”

People were amused by the toddler’s antics as the story gained more than 6 million views and over 136k likes.

One person commented: “The baby was just… making sure the gifts were safe. Yeah! What if Santa made a mistake or something? XD the gifts had to be triple checked!”
