Insiders have revealed how much time the Duke and Duchess of Sussex spent time with the Queen during their visit to the UK for the Platinum Jubilee celebrations.
According to The Sun, Prince Harry and Meghan spent 15 minutes with Her Majesty. During the meeting, they also introduced their daughter Lilibet, who celebrated her first birthday on the Windsor estate.
The Sussexes saw the Queen at Windsor on June 2 and the meeting was kept ‘formal’ by Buckingham Palace aides.
Discussing the Sussex’s meeting with the monarch, an insider told The Sun: “It was a quick in and out job. It was all quite formal.”
However, Harry and his brother the Duke of Cambridge had no private time together during the couple’s visit to the UK, according to The Sunday Times, adding that their ‘broken relationship’ hasn’t been completely healed.
“(Prince William) is still deeply upset about (Harry’s decision to leave) and feels let down, but he’s moved on,” a friend said.
This comes as British player Millie Hine, who was victorious in the Chestertons Polo in the Park tournament and knows members of Harry’s Los Padres team, revealed that the Duke of Sussex is ‘living his dream in the US,’ playing professional levels of polo.
Harry was recently spotted playing polo while enjoying the Californian heat almost a week after returning to the U.S. from the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee festivities.
The red-faced duke played with his friend Nacho Figuera’s team Los Padres at the Cancha de Estrella Polo Club. He was photographed taking a break with both of his hands behind his head.
Harry sported a green top, white trousers, knee pads, and black riding boots as he soaked in the typical Los Angeles heat before being spotted riding his brown horse.
