Taylor Swift seemed to enjoy Trevor Noah’s NFL joke at the Grammy’s as he made fun of the NFL’s fascination with the singer.
Host Trevor Noah slammed the attention the Shake It Off hitmaker has been receiving since she and Kansas City Chiefs tight-end Travis Kelce started dating.
“I think it is so unfair how NFL fans have been complaining about the cameras panning to Taylor Swift, like she’s controlling the cameras at the game. Just let her live,” he said.
Noah continued: “In fact, tonight, on Taylor’s behalf, you know what I’m going to do? I’m gonna give her a break. Every time they mention Taylor Swift, I’m gonna get revenge.
“Every time someone says Taylor Swift, I’m gonna cut the cameras to someone who played football, that’s what I’ll do. Cut!”
When he shouted ‘cut,’ cameras panned to Brooklyn Nine-Nine star Terry Crews who played linebacker and defensive end in the NFL before he pursued his acting career.
“Oh yeah, you like that Terry Crews?” Noah went on as Crews started looking around. “You better fix your face Terry!” he added.
The singer seemed to be enjoying the NFL joke as she was seen laughing.
This comes after she was spotted showing an icy expression at the Golden Globe Awards after comedian Jo Koy made a joke at her expense.
“The big difference between the Golden Globes and the NFL? On the Golden Globes, we have fewer camera shots of Taylor Swift,” he said.
The camera then switched to Swift, who pursed her lips before she took a sip from her drink.
