JUST IN: Taylor Swift Suffers Onstage Mishap As She Nearly FALLS Off Her Chair During Steamy Performance On Eras Tour In Tokyo


Taylor Swift’s fans couldn’t contain their shock when the singer nearly fell off her chair during her performance in Tokyo.

The ‘Shake It Off’ hitmaker, wearing a midnight blue leotard, was dancing a steamy rendition of ‘Vigilante S***,’ squatting with her legs open before she tried to sit on a chair.

But the 34-year-old miscalculated the position of her chair and was seen stumbling before she managed to compose herself.

Many fans took to social media to praise the star for staying calm, with one person writing: “Her thighs probably so strong that she could sit like that without the chair for the whole song.”

Another said: “She’s been doing her squats bc i would’ve fallen right on my a**.”

Swift appeared in high spirits while holding a sparkly guitar and her fans singing along to her popular songs.

She also thrilled her fans with her surprise songs Dear Reader and Holy Ground.

During her Evermore performance, Swift announced that she had been working on her upcoming album ‘The tortured Poets Department.’

“I’ve been working on it for about two years, I worked on it throughout the US tour. And when it was perfect, in my opinion, when it was good enough for you, I finished it,” she revealed.

“I’m so so so excited that soon you’ll get to hear it and we’ll get to experience that together.”

“I’m over the moon that you guys care about my music. It still blows my mind,” she added.

Last week, the Japanese embassy confirmed that the singer would be able to watch the Chiefs tight end play.

“Despite the 12-hour flight and 17-hour time difference, the Embassy can confidently Speak Now to say that if she departs Tokyo in the evening after her concert, she should comfortably arrive in Las Vegas before the Super Bowl begins,” part of the statement read.
