A Buffalo Bills stadium worker has shared the generous tip she received from singer Taylor Swift, who was in attendance to cheer on her boyfriend, Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce.
Jerris Rainey, who had an unforgettable moment while working as a ticker-taker at the New York stadium, revealed that she was just hoping to see the singer during the game but she got more than what she expected.
In an interview with 7 News’ Michael Wooten, she said that the Enchanted hitmaker was ‘very down to Earth.’
“I just wanted to see her, and she, you know, she stopped and she asked me if I worked at the stadium. I said yes. And she asked if she could give me a tip,” Rainey said.
Swift then handed her $100 and her kindness did not end there. She also asked her if she wanted to take a photo together and Rainey ended her shift with a picture of herself and Swift smiling at the camera.
“She’s a sweetie pie,” she expressed.
The Chiefs won against the Buffalo Bills with a score of 27-24. They are set to play against the Baltimore Ravens on January 28.
This is not the first time Swift has shown generosity. Last summer, she handed out bonus checks of $100,000 to around 50 truckers who worked on her Eras tour.
Dancers, sound and lighting technicians, band members and caterers also received a ‘very generous amount’ for their efforts during the tour.
The Eras Tour featured 131 concerts and has been a huge success in America, setting new records for ticket sales worldwide and boosting local economies.
