A woman has shared how she ruined her friend’s bachelorette party after she discovered that she’s been calling her names behind her back, and she doesn’t regret it at all.
The woman said that she took matters into her own hands when she found out that her friend, who was about to tie the knot, had called her pathetic behind her back.
She took to Reddit and explained that she sought revenge on her ex-pal, who she called Cher.
“Cher is actively planning out her wedding. The Bachelorette party comes up and she wants to go to Atlantic City for the weekend,” the woman wrote.
“I thought that was a great idea and I had never been before.
“I offered to book the room in a nice hotel… So the next day I booked it and told her it was all set up.”
Everything seemed to be going well for the wedding until the woman realized that her ex-friend had been calling her names behind her back.
“Now during this time, my (ex)husband and I were having some issues. I would talk to her about it because I thought I could trust her,” the poster said.
“Barely a week after I made the reservations, I received a text from her that wasn’t meant for me. I don’t remember the exact words but she basically called me pathetic and annoying and used my name in that text.”
After reading the text message, she was shocked that the bride-to-be had completely betrayed her trust.
“She was referring to my marital problems. I sat for a minute and responded that I think she meant to text that to someone else. She made some lame excuse about autocorrect or something. I knew it was bull***t.”
The woman then decided to seek revenge by ruining her friend’s hen party.
“Fast forward about a month. The Bachelorette party is almost here! Everyone is so excited to spend the weekend in a nice hotel on my dime,” she wrote.
She said that she was also excited for the weekend but for different reasons.
“You see, after I got that text, I canceled the reservations and didn’t mention it. I waited until it was too late for them to get another room.”
Her revenge ruined the bride-to-be’s entire weekend but she doesn’t regret their decision.
Hundreds of Reddit users were quick to share their thoughts, with one person writing: “Wow, see that’s just hurtful; what “Cher” did. Take advantage of your generosity and kindness while insulting you to other friends behind your back. This is why I have trust issues…”
Another commented: “You’re my kind of petty. I love it.”
