Sports agent Rich Paul has finally addressed rumors that he and Adele are married after she referred to him as ‘husband’ on stage.

Rich, 41, shared how he and the 35-year-old singer have ‘helped each other’ during their relationship.

“She’s been great, I think she would agree that we definitely helped each other,” he said of his partner on CBS Mornings.

Rich continued: “I’m in a good space, we’re in a good space. Happy. She’s superb. She’s been great for me. We’ve been great for each other.”

When asked by Gayle King about the rumors he and Adele were already married, asking whether she should refer to her as ‘Mrs. Paul,’ the sports agent responded: “You can say whatever you want.”

He also added that he is not the “type of person to put (his) personal life. It’s not for the media.”

This comes after Adele called him her ‘husband’ during her concert in Las Vegas, sparking rumors that they got married.

During the show, a fan screamed out ‘Will you marry me?’ to which the singer replied: “You can’t marry me. I’m straight, my love, and my husband’s here tonight.”

The fan then said: “Can you try?” and Adele said: “No, I don’t want to try. I’m with Rich. You’re crazy, leave me alone.”

It was in July 2021 when the couple first went public with their relationship.

She said about Paul in a 2021 interview with CBS: “He’s just hilarious. Oh, he’s so funny, he’s hilarious, yeah. And very smart. You know, he’s very, very smart. It’s quite incredible watching him do what he does.”

Adele added: “It’s just timing. But it’d be interesting to see what my reaction is like in general to anything that hurts me now that I feel so secure in myself, and I’m talking outside of romance as well.”
