The 95th installment of the Oscars showed many incredible moments, including the nostalgic scene when former child star Ke Huy Quan reunited with Harrison Ford.
Indiana Jones fans were delighted to see the pair, who acted alongside each other in the 1984 film.
During the presentation of the award for Best Picture to the entire cast and crew of the movie Everything Everywhere All at Once, Quan and Ford reunited with a harm embrace on stage.
The great moment instantly became a talk on social media, with one fan writing: “Oh my god, Ke Huy Quan immediately running up and hugging Harrison Ford,” with crying emojis.
Another said: “KE HUY QUAN AND HARRISON FORD HUG ON STAGE IM CRYING.”
A third added: “This is actually my favorite moment of the night.”
Quan jumped to the stage after it was announced that he was the winner of the coveted Best Supporting Actor.
He told everyone how grateful he was to receive such an honor.
Holding up his award, Quan said: “Thank you! My mom is 84 years old and she’s at home watching. Mom! I just won an Oscar.”
The 51-year-old star continued: “My journey started on a boat. I spent a year in a refugee camp and somehow I ended up here on Hollywood’s biggest stage. They say stories like this only happens in the movies. I cannot believe it’s happening to me. This, this is the American dream.”
He continued: “Thank you so much. Thank you so much to the Academy for this honor of a lifetime. Thank you to my mum for the sacrifices she made to get me here.
“To my little brother, David, who calls me every day just to remind me to take good care of myself. I love you, brother!
“Thank you to Kendall for all your support and everything you’ve done. Thank you to A24, the Daniels, Jonathan, Jamie, Michelle and, my brother for life, Jeff Cohen.”
