A pregnant woman has shared how she was left heartbroken after finding out that her husband has been having an affair with her mother.
The 26-year-old took to Reddit and said that she didn’t know how to react and how to confront them.
“I’m four months pregnant and I’m trying not to stress since it’s bad for the baby,” she wrote, adding that she was shocked that her husband’s secret lover was her 52-year-old mother.
The expecting mom shared that her husband was excited when she announced her pregnancy.
“He was kissing me and telling me how lucky he was to have me but now he’s changed. About two weeks after my surprise announcement, he stopped hugging me and kissing me like usual,” she continued.
Her husband then stopped eating the meals she’d prepared for him and she noticed that he changed his lock screen.
“Not sure if that meant anything but I found out three days ago,” she said. “I went through his phone while he was in the shower and found text messages, videos, and pictures.”
The woman shared how she was left sick to her stomach after seeing photos of her mother in lingerie and her husband was replying with photos of his private part.
But what angered her the most was the message her mother sent.
“It read: ‘I love you so much. More than you think. You’ve helped me through the passing of my beloved ex-husband and for that I truly thank you. I know it is hard for you to keep a secret like this, and for me, it is too.
“I love my daughter with all my heart but she will have to accept eventually that love is love and that the heart wants what it wants. Our hearts want each other.”
The message added: “I thought that ever since my husband died, nobody would ever love me because I’m just an old woman but you have shown me to love myself and made me feel young and sexy again. let’s keep having fun and cherishing each other.”
The pregnant woman said that she threw up after reading her mother’s message.
“I have screenshots of the messages and have sent the videos to myself. Of course, I deleted them on his phone so it looked like he never sent me anything. I’m numb. I’m confused. I’m hurt so bad. I can’t even cry because I refuse to believe it. My husband is at work,” she added.

Another said: “They are both disgusting and do not love you as they claim. Expose both of them and see how strong their love for each other is. Do not keep their secrets. But before confronting, first, talk to a lawyer. This is a massive betrayal and I am sorry you are going through this.”
