Never-before-seen photos of Meghan Markle have emerged after her trip to Germany.
Hundreds of Brits and Germans waited for more than two hours in the heat hoping to take photos with the Duke and Duchess of Sussex at Dusseldorf town hall.
Many fans wore paper masks of the Queen as they tried to have a quick chat and photo with the couple.
Some admitted that they were attracted by the crowd that follows the Sussexes, with one attendee saying that she thought they were ‘rude to the Royal Family’ but still wanted to see couple as they are ‘like soap stars.’
Former serviceman Bob Clark and his wife Lily were also in attendance, with Clark wearing an ermine robe, a mask of the Queen, and a crown while Lily carried a bag celebrating the union of Meghan and Harry.
According to reports, the couple traveled from Duisburg to show their support for the Royal Family even though the Sussexes have quit from their royal duties in 2020.
“We are both huge fans of the Queen and the royal family. It will be great to see Harry and Meghan,” Bob said.
Hundreds of fans stood behind metal barriers outside the town hall and some had waited for three hours before the couple’s arrival.
Elisa, 24, said: “I know they have been rude about the royal family, but I have read so much about them I wanted to see them myself.”
Melina, 26, also said: “They have become a soap opera, but I find anything about the Queen and royal family interesting.”
Meghan sported a cream knitted vest and matching trousers while Harry donned a grey suit when they flew into Germany where police set up roadblocks for their entourage.
