A woman whose ‘selfish’ neighbors have nine cars parked in front of her house has shared how she got her ultimate revenge that cost them $100,000.
Taking to Reddit, the unnamed woman explained that her neighbors have their own driveway but insisted on parking their vehicles outside her house.
“My neighbors have nine cars total parked in the street,” she said.
“They always park two of those cars front on my house and won’t move them the whole week. We have a regulation where you live that you can’t leave your car parked for more than 48 hours in the same spot.”
The woman said that her neighbors’ driveway, which has space for four vehicles, was always empty.
“They have told me they don’t like to leave their driveway with cars because it looks tacky. Over half the cars they have they don’t even use them. They just use them to safe parking spots for themselves,” she went on.
When the furious resident noticed construction work at the back of her neighbor’s home, she found an opportunity to plan her ultimate revenge and reported the illegal work.
She submitted a ticket to the city and informed them that there might be some illegal residential building without permits.
“I noticed my neighbors tearing down their second unit last week. Word got around our block that a city inspector was there making sure everything was being torn down. Based on what they materials and labor they put into their second unit, I cost them over $100,000,” she added.
