For most people, first dates would usually involve lunch or dinner and an awkward conversation about who’s going to pay the bill.
But for Zanela, men who wish to court her must have a thick wallet in order to impress her.
The 26-year-old influencer admitted that she goes for rich men who spend over $100K on their dates.
Zanela, who also owns a skincare business, said that men would usually spend from low thousands up to $100k to show that they have the financial means.
Such dates can include yachts, private jets, and dinner in top restaurants and fancy hotels.
In the past month alone, the entrepreneur has been flown to Paris, Switzerland, Cannes and Monaco for a date.
“Nine out of 10 of my dates have been CEOs because I like people who are super successful and are super financially free and CEOs typically have the most freedom with their own schedules,” the 26-year-old explained.
“They tend to be millionaires and billionaires. That’s important because I want to be successful and create that lifestyle. But ultimately, it’s about the personality and the vibe.”
Zanela also said that she craves beauty, saying her lifestyle entails amazing experiences.
“I love spontaneous trips and love the freedom to travel widely,” adding that her way of dating allows her to get opportunities to do what she likes.
When she feels comfortable, Zanela will give her potential suitors her passport details so they can book her flights.
“My schedule is flexible too, I don’t have a nine to five and I don’t have a boss to answer to,” she shared.
“For my work as a travel influencer, I’m supposed to take photos and build content from it so sometimes I would set my location to somewhere else and connect with men from those cities.”
Zanela said that she’s not worried about meeting a swindler as she trusts her intuition and can act accordingly.
“You need to make sure everything’s safe and have done your research and to make sure the person is like reliable,” she said. “He also will want to make sure I’m a real person too and that I’m not a ‘catfish.’”
