A woman has revealed how more than 100 men have sent her proposal requests because of her hair.
22-year-old Jasmine Larsen from Bristol started growing her tresses out in 2017 and her luscious locks now fall down to her knees.
In addition to proposal requests, she was even offered more than $321,780 to cut it but the real-life Rapunzel declined it, saying: “No, I’m sorry. I’m not gonna send my hair, I’m not gonna cut it. This is my hair, and it’s priceless.”
Jasmine said she had no idea her red hair would gain the attention of the richest people around the world when she first shared photos of herself online.
When she gained more than 10,000 followers on Instagram, brands started reaching out for collaborations.
“When I first received [an offer], I did think about it because it’s a lot of money,” she said.
“It was actually a video request and he offered £3,000 ($3,860). He wanted my partner to lick my hair, but I didn’t have a partner and I wasn’t going to let anyone lick my hair. The second one wanted me to chop my hair and then send it off to him and that was for like £250,000 ($321,780).”
Others wanted to see hairstyles and request the 22-year-old to do buns or up-dos-
“One guy made a video of a cartoon character slowly eating my long hair,” she revealed.
Jasmine has also been inundated with men who wanted to marry her because of her long tresses.
“I think it’s because they know that I’m single and I have long hair, and I’m a sweet person,” she said.
“So they’re just sending these proposals and some of them are begging for it.”
Jasmine now runs her own company Lars Haircare and plans on growing her hair out until it touches the ground.
