Bower said that Harry was ‘looking forward’ to ‘endless banter’ with his pals but Meghan ‘challenged every guest’ who ‘contravened her woke values.’

In his new book, the author said that Meghan ‘lacked any sense of humor,’ adding that the Duchess of Sussex was a ‘dampener on the party.’

“Like other shooting weekends, Harry was looking forward to endless banter, jokes, and a lot of drinking.

“He had not anticipated Meghan’s reaction. Their jokes, involving sexism, feminism and transgender people, ricocheted around the living-rooms and dining-rooms.”

“She lacked any sense of humor. Driving home after Sunday lunch, the texts pinged between the cars: “OMG, what about HER?” said one. “Harry must be f***ing nuts”.”

The author also claims the Duchess of Sussex ‘reprimanded guests’ when they made the ‘slightest inappropriate comment.’

During a trip to Jamaica to attend a wedding in 2017, Meghan allegedly clashed with Harry’s pals.

He said that she behaved ‘princessy’ and ‘refused to engage with Harry’s friends,’ and making ‘remarks about the food’ instead.

The author also said that Meghan was not delighted when her agent secured a brand contract with Reitmans in 2015 as she “longed to be the face of Ralph Lauren.”

During her first shoot in 2016, she clashed with the creative team in Montreal, adding that the production team ‘avoided eye contact with he,’ as she ‘complained’ the hotel slippers and bathrobe ‘weren’t Dior,’ the ‘vegan juice was warm,’ and the ‘tea was the wrong blend.’

But in front of cameras, Bower claimed that the former actress “transformed into a warm and glamorous icon.”
