The Duchess of Sussex returned to the Red Carpet and dazzled in a white-off-the-shoulder gown with a subtle center leg slit to accept an ‘anti-racism’ award in New York with the Duke of Sussex.
Meghan Markle, 41, was seen smiling from ear to ear as she and Prince Harry, 38, made their way into the Ripple of Hope Gala, where tickets were being sold for up to $1 million each.
The philanthropic pair attended the gala in New York City to accept a human rights award from the Robert F. Kennedy Human Rights Foundation.
The Duchess wore a custom-made form-fitting white Louis Vuitton dress with leg slit, which showed her elegant black heels.
She kept her accessories simple, matching the gown with sparkly gold earrings and a small black clutch, allowing her neutral makeup to shine through.
Walking by her side, the Duke opted for a clean, classic appearance in a black suit and black tie.
The Sussexes arrived at the event in a convoy of three SUVs. They were accompanied by five security guards who assisted them when they stepped out of their car after flying into New York City on a private jet.
After entering, the couple beamed at the cameras before going to the gala dinner.
Meghan was seen wearing a large blue ring, which once belonged to Princess Diana. She wore the accessory on her Royal Wedding in May 2018.
This comes after Kate, the Princess of Wales, wore a bold green gown on Friday when she and Prince William hosted the co-friendly Earthshot Gala in Boston.
Kate’s gown also had long sleeves, an off-the-shoulder neckline, and a slit but it was at the back of her dress.
The Princess of Wales also wore a piece of her late mother-in-law’s jewelry at the event – an emerald-and-diamond choker that matched her dress.
