Mariah Carey brought her daughter Monroe onto the stage during her show in the Toronto Scotiabank Arena and proved that the 11-year-old has her mother’s talents.
Wearing sparkling white gowns and matching tiaras, the duo left viewers astounded as they sang Away In A Manger.
The songstress admitted that the performance was her first duet with her daughter, saying: “This is my baby girl, here. Eleven years ago, I got the greatest gift.”
Mariah continued: “You know what, I don’t have birthdays, but the birthing day was the greatest gift ever. This is our first duet.”
The mother and daughter sang a heartfelt rendition of festive classic Away In A Manger as Monroe proved that she could also be set for a musical career.
One concert-goer reshared a video on Twitter and wrote: “Mariah carey just brought her daughter Monroe out on stage for a duet.”
Another tweeted: “Thank you @mariahcarey for the most incredible show, I can’t wait to see both nights at MSG.”
A third said: “The set list was unbelievable and unexpected and we got the FAN FAVS and DEEP DIVES!!! we adore you profusely !!!#MerryChristmasToAll.”
Mariah shares Monroe and her twin Moroccan with ex-husband Nick Cannon, who recently welcomed his 1th baby with Abby De La Rosa.
In an Instagram post, the TV personality wrote: “11/11/2022 A BEAUTIFUL DAY for ‘BEAUTIFUL ZEPPELIN CANNON’ to arrive!”
He added: “BEAUTIFUL ZEPPELIN aka BZC aka BIZZY B! Get ready because the world is yours! Daddy loves you!!”
Cannon currently has 11 children in total – Monroe, Moroccan, Powerful, Golden, Zillion, Zion, Zen, Onyx, Legendary, Rise, and Zeppelin.
He is expecting his 12th child with Alyssa Scott.
