A man who won $2 million after having a bad day at work has shared how he’s planning to spend his winnings.
The lucky player from Australia was one of 11 division one winning entries in the $20 million TattsLotto draw 4409 and he was set to receive a total prize of $1.8 million.
When he received a call about the huge win, he revealed that he was having a bad day because of work.
“Wow! Wow! I’m in shock… F***! I had no idea,” he expressed.
“Funnily enough, I thought I was having a bad morning because there was a mishap at work but now it’s done a complete 180,” the winner continued.
When asked about his plans about his winnings, he said that he would ‘pay off my mortgage.’
“This will be a tremendous help… I’ll have to celebrate tonight!” he added.
The man was the only winner of the draw from Tasmania, with others picking the numbers in New South Wales, four in Queensland, and two in Victoria.
This comes after a man from Sydney won $30 million after being the only division one winner in Oz Lotto draw 1548.
After checking the winning numbers after the draw, he couldn’t believe that he won such a huge amount.
“I’m honestly in so much shock. I don’t know what to say,” he said.
“This is a big surprise. I’m still trying to process it all. I can’t believe I’ve won $30 million,” the Sydney man expressed, adding that he is now planning to have an early retirement.
