A man who was starting to lose hair broke down in tears after receiving a new hair system that made him look young again.

Ashley Tawney had the realistic hairpiece fitted by Novo Cabelo Hair, who filmed his reaction throughout the process and shared the heartwarming video on social media.

In the viral clip, Ashley can be seen with his eyes covered. Rob, the stylist, worked on his hair before covering his scalp with adhesive and protector.

The stylist fitted the hairpiece to Ashley’s head before styling it.

“Ashley is here for a blind reaction hair system makeover,” the voiceover said. “He is tired of feeling self-conscious about his hair.

“With his eyes covered up, Rob gets to work with shaving the unwanted hair, prepping the scalp with a protector and a glue adhesive, and then cutting the system into Ashley’s new style.”

Rob added: “All we need was Ashley’s reaction. Let’s see what he thinks.”

The clip then showed Ashley’s reaction to seeing his new hairstyle. “Oh my god!” he said in tears.

People online were also left emotional by the video, which has been viewed more than 400,000 times.

One person commented: “I think it’s great that men can feel better… like women have been with wigs for years.”

Another wrote: “Tears in my eyes. People don’t realize this can really shatter some men’s confidence. It doesn’t define you, but it’s difficult to accept.”

A third said: “I’m a woman who unfortunately is going through my two-stage of hair loss in four years, it’s so upsetting, Ashley you look amazing.”

Someone else added: “What a genuine guy, I’m happy for him he looks amazing.”
